Search Computer / Launch applications and documents
Search operations are devided into the four different categories.
- 1. Executables
With this option you can search executable files, control panel applets, Microsoft common console documents (*.msc) and batch files (*.bat and *.cmd).
- 2. Files
With this option you can search documents, music, images, videos and settings files (*.ini) etc. This option includes every associated file type which is not an executable file.
- 3. Tasks
With this option you can search predefined tasks such as increase volume, decrease volume, activate screen saver, empty recycle bin etc. It covers tens of different tasks.
- 4. All
With this option you can search all types of files and predefined tasks on your computer. This covers the above three categories.
Search querys
You can type one keyword or several keywords separated by a space character. If you are looking for an exact phrase, put the phrase inside quotation marks. Wildcards can also be used within search querys. Wildcard character is a question mark (?).
Launching applications and documents
When you have made a search query and results are displayed on the screen you can launch them by pressing Enter key or double clicking the selected entry with your mouse.
